Exam Formats

The PMP exam fee is not included in the course fee. It must be paid by you directly to the Project Management Institute (PMI) for the application and examination

There are six types of questions in the PMP® exam and they are:

  • Formula-based questions 
  • Situational questions 
  • Knowledge-based PMP® exam questions 
  • Interpretational questions 
  • Specific technique questions 
  • PMBOK® Guide knowledge questions

You need to pass 175 questions out of 200 multiple-choice questions which are found in the PMP® exam. The remaining 25 questions are referred to as pre-test but are not obvious or distinguishable as they’re scattered around the multiple questions. The PMP® exam candidate should attempt all the questions since he or she cannot single out those 25 pre-test questions
